100 years at the SWB Hastedt power plant
By order of the company Diekmann Lichtwerbung GmbH (DLW), 3 sides were to be "lettered" ci-conform at the Bremen-Hastedt power plant and 1 side at the Bremen-port power plant.
In collaboration with the manufacturing firm, DLW, building visits, designs, different assembly concepts and advertising material production were co-ordinated to punctually set up the 12 "small letters" at heights of 60-80 metres.
4 height workers, 2 grounders and 2 advertising material technicians put up the lettering on the facades of both power plants over a total of 7 working days with excellent weather conditions, resulting in highly visible company signage.
Construction details:
- 146.0 m² metal composite material
- Maximum measurements of the letters 11152 x 4721 mm (WxH)
- 1.5 km body, transport and fixation parts
- 60 anchoring boreholes in the facades
