Method of Operation

Apart from the fact that our work requires intensive planning, particular precautions are indispensable to carry these out safely and within the time frame.

The bases below give a brief insight into the rules and processes used and followed by Rope Access Solutions:

Double security: Apart from the use of work ropes, a second, spare safety rope is also used. If assembly work is carried out within an existing structure (steel girder, truss system, mero system), we either set up a permanent life-line facility or use spare devices to protect against falling in the form of a PPE, hooked directly onto the existing system.
To ensure your "buddy" is saved in the event they fall into the preventer mechanism or safety catch, our teams comprise at least 2 height workers.
If more than 5 height workers are employed, there is also a worksite manager (=supervisor) to ensure smooth co-ordination of various assembly sections on large building sites.
The use of more than 10 height workers also requires a heights rescuer to be present.
All height workers have completed basic training and an aptitude test according to FISAT regulations.
Rope Access Solutions exclusively uses CE-tested materials and PPE.
